I'm looking forward to seing Karla in Savannah for the Folk Festival. The venue is outdoors in the Savannah Sandgnats (minor league baseball) stadium, Grayson Stadium. The two sets on October 10th are 3:45 and 6:45.

Karla, do you know at this point what kind of a program you will perform, as in, do you work differently in an outdoor venue as opposed to an indoor concert? This event, from what the Savannah Folk Festival web site reads, "The entire Festival is FREE TO THE PUBLIC." So I asssume this means all the concerts are free. Does that impact the program you'll perform?

I was a tad dismayed to read that it would be an outdoor concert but a friend who'd been to one at Grayson Staduim says it really is pretty good, that the stage is underneath an overhang so the sound is pretty decent. I hope he's right.

This question is probaly pretty stupid, but I wondered if the general program is known, or who you'll be playing with or if you'll be solo?

As you can see my anticipation is increasing. I've wanted to hear you live for quite a while.
