I used to watch the stars in the sky
And I thought they would tell me why
Why it seems I'm never where I wanna be
Well it may be faith, it may be destiny

I don't care what the gypsy said
I'll take my luck and I'll go
I'll close my eyes and I'll turn my head
'cause I don't wanna know
What the gypsy said

Oh they say you're never safe
Anytime your heart could break
There's a full moon rising
in the midnight sky
I'll hold you in my arms and even if I cry

I don't care what the gypsy said
I'll take my luck and I'll go
I'll close my eyes and I'll turn my head
'cause I don't wanna know
What the gypsy said

Oh it's time to hear the call
I'm gonna let the pieces fall

'cause I don't care what the gypsy said
I'll take my luck and I'll go
I'll close my eyes and turn my head
'cause I don't wanna know what the gypsy said
'cause I don't wanna know what the gypsy said
What the gypsy said...

"What The Gypsy Said " was first recorded early in 1997 and again in the first two months of 1998 during Bryndle's "House of Silence" sessions - but it remains officially unreleased.

The unreleased Bryndle version is occasionally available for download on the Bryndle Sounds page.
