Most of the members of the Grateful Dead have lived in various areas throughout Marin but this location in central San Rafael has been their business office for nearly 30 years. All of their tours and record company business were conducted out of this Central Marin building and it was here that Jerry Garcia kept a private office during the last years of his life.
