Marin County is a unique place of amazing natural beauty. It's been a retreat for many creative people. Due to its natural beauty and its proximity to San Francisco just across the bay, it's a place with a rich contemporary history.

In this website, we'll take a look at some of these special places - many of which aren't even known by the locals.

While there is a voyeuristic appeal of seeing some of these locations, this is not intended as a roadmap to the stars. Many of these locations are private property and these should not be searched out, nor should the residents or employees be bothered in any way. For that very reason, the locations of some of these places have been kept intentionally vague.
